OFA Hips GOOD (her dam is excellent)
It was the generosity and belief of Barbara and Ross Carrier, and also Becky Bucata of Jobar Shelties that Shine came into my life. I am very thankful to them. Shine was my first show prospect and reason that I began showing in conformation. Shine is just like her name, she just 'shines' ! She is a beautiful color saturated tri-color female with an energetic personality that makes her fun to be around. She also excels with a classic balanced outline and a lean well-chiseled head. Also, she has a smooth side gait that covers a lot of ground while showing her reach and drive. We are so pleased with her quality.
Brynmere Selah Captivating (aka Rebekah)
DOB: September 21, 2013
Introducing our show hopeful "Brynmere Selah Captivating", call name "Rebekah". Born 9-21-13. She is pictured here at 11 weeks old. Thank you Sharon Schutte for this outstanding girl. Rebekah is by Belmark Brynmere Mover N Shaker (Billy) out of Apple Acres Brynmere Winning Ticket (Raffles).
We are excited at the quality Rebekah possesses. She is growing out as a moderate blue merle with a beautifully balanced and detailed head. She also displays a balanced body and stunning outline. Her temperament is wonderfully enjoyable, expressive, intelligent, and adaptable. We anticipate a bright future for her starting in 2014.
Armitage Mary Jane (MJ)
DOB: December 12, 2008
Selah Shelties was graced with "MJ" in December 2012 from Armitage Shelties. "MJ" offers a unique pedigree being sired by CH Rosmoor Protocol out of one of Armitage Shelties foundation bitches, Armitage Lochend Beyond Compare, who is tightly linebred on the breed's most sought after individuals. "MJ" is a brilliant mahogany sable (tri-factored/non-white factored) with beautiful turn of stifle with short hocks, and long thick hock hair are her most prevalent features. Lovely expression, head details, and overall great body and sound mover that captures the eye. We are pleased with her qualities and look forward to her becoming one of our foundation bitches. In this next year, MJ will be introduced to obedience, and will decide what other areas she would like to explore from there.
On 11/30/2013 MJ who had been spayed, was placed in a wonderful forever companion home.
